My philosophy toward consulting is simple: What can I share with you? What experience, what situation, what challenges, what ideas, what connections, what thought processes can I tell you about that will help you move the needle on your own research endeavors. 

 

Science is not conducted by robots; it is carried out by people.

Throughout my career, I've worked within teams, including those that I built myself, to tackle scientific challenges. I worry that in our modern environment, where nearly every aspect of life is being driven by computer technology, we have forgotten that it's the people that come up with the ideas. I have lots of ideas that I'm willing to share, and no request is too big or too small.
